I think I’ve finally figured out an adequate remedy to the dearth of music videos in my media center setup. It involves installing TV Tonic and subscribing to their Rawdio feed. TV Tonic is pretty cool to begin with if you have a Windows Media Center plugged into your TV. It’s essentially a video podcast aggregator with a 10-foot interface. So you can navigate it with your remote. Apparently the thing works with IE too, so you don’t even really need Windows MCE.
With Rawdio, finally, I can passively watch music videos like I did when I was wee. Plus I get the added bonus of skipping past the shite I don’t want to watch. Man I was tripping on this Grizzly Bear video.
I’ve also added the Telemusicvision HD feed of Democracy Player fame to my TV Tonic subscriptions for even greater video variety. Now if they’d only update it.

Hi there!
We’re so glad you like Rawdio/TVTonic! Please don’t hesitate to email us you video requests — we’ll try our best to accommodate!
Sincerely,
Andre
